Hello. My name is Jennifer. I am twenty-six years old and I'm studying at Tunxis CC. I plan to one day finish school and work as a secretary at either a hospital or a doctor's office.

I am obsessed with reading and writing fanfiction. I love history. My friends and I started playing Dungeons and Dragons about a year and a half ago. I play a Dwarven Cleric, the healer, named Damson Emily, who thinks it's an Elf from the "fictional" forest of Mirkwood. She's suffering from PTSD because she saw her whole clan murdered in front of her.

Damson Emily is a notoriously bad healer, because when it really counts, I botch my healing rolls. The running joke among our group is that the party didn't want me to come along because I'm obviously unstable, but I followed them for so long that they gave up and let me join them. Now, after all this time, it's cheaper to let my character stay with them, rather than find and hire another healer.

I barely use this Livejournal anymore. I'm mainly keeping it active so that I can archive my fics that I'm too embarrassed to post on AO3.

(Quote from Shakespeare's King Lear-Gloucester)"These late eclipses in the sun and moon portend no good to us. Though the wisdom of nature can reason it thus and thus, yet nature finds itself scourg'd by the sequent effects: love cools, friendship falls off, brothers divide; in cities, mutinies; in countries, discord; in palaces, treason; and the bond crack'd 'twixt son and father. This villain of mine comes under the prediction: there's son against father. The King falls from bias of nature: there's father against child. We have seen the best of our time: machinations, hollowness, treachery, and all ruinous disorders, follow us quietly to our graves."

"And though my mind is still a Virgin, the rest of me is well-done."-Harry Chapin, "On The Road To Kingdom Come"

"When grace was easy to forget,
I'd denounce the hypocrites,
casting first stones, killing my own.
You would unscale my blind eyes,
and I stood battered, but more wise..."
---"On Distant Shores", Five Iron Frenzy
